The Brief

Public Health England wanted to create a series of four animations for its All Our Health Programme with the following topics:

- All Our Health overview

- 456 model

- Childhood obesity

- Work as a health outcome

The all our health programme is framework of evidence to guide healthcare professionals in preventing illness, protecting health and promoting wellbeing and these animations were targeted at all health care professionals. Shown here is the childhood obesity animation from the series.

What We Delivered

Lineout Media assisted the PHE content team in script development and then created an initial storyboard detailing the flow, content and style of the video. After several stages or review and approval to proceed, a voice over artist was selected, and the script recorded. Each section of the storyboard was then animated and synced with the voiceover.

The Brief

The brief of this project was to create a high impact lively video to kick start BDO’s annual conference. The theme was the convergence of technology and the objective of the video was to show how far technology had come in a short period of time, and to question where technology will be headed in the future and what it means for business.

What We Delivered

Lineout Media created a few different potential styles for the video. After several stages or review, agreement on the technology items and approval to proceed, the animation was crafted.

The Brief

To create a series of animated and filmed modules for inclusion into an e-learning platform for the training of midwives about infectious diseases in pregnancy. The modules were, HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B. Public Health England would need assistance in writing the script for each module, creating storyboards and then on approval turning these into completed modules for uploading to the e-learning platform “storyline.”

We are including here a small extract from the HIV module.

What We Delivered

The project was delivered in a variety of key stages over 12 months for each module. A rich variety of content was produced for each module including:

- Modelling of each virus and full 3D visualisations of the infection diseases in action using applications such as After Effects and Cinema 4D.

- Animated graphs and illustrations using Illustrator and After Effects

- Actors, film, crew and directors for the shooting of “demonstration” discussions with patients who had been diagnosed with an infectious disease during their pregnancy.

For each module, a script was jointly written between Public Health England’s team, and the Lineout Media creative team. Once finalised, a storyboard for each was created before entering full production by the relevant teams.

The Brief

Public Health England wanted to create an animation to explain its reduction programme. This involved setting the scene by explaining the current number of children with weight issues, and the knock-on effect of this of their health later. Next up was to explain how government and industry can help this situation by reducing, calories, sugar in salt, in foods like ready meals, takeaways and snacks.
